Terms & Conditions
Service Fees
Services provided by Direct Health Solutions are not covered by provincial health care. As such, service fees are billed directly to the clients. Fees are based on the type of service, supplies, and time required by your provider. Additional fees apply for visits outside of city limits, certain supplies, urgent appointments, and follow-up appointments. Fees are posted on our website and are subject to change without notice.
An approved credit card pre-authorization is required prior to booking an appointment. Unless another form of payment is agreed upon and received, the pre-authorized credit card will be charged for all rendered services until the client withdraws consent to charge this credit card and another credit card is approved. All credit card information is securely stored and processed by a third-party payment processing provider that is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
Cancellation/No-Show Policy
Due to the nature of our services, appointment availability is limited. In consideration of our practitioners and fellow patients, we kindly request that you refrain from canceling appointments at the last minute or failing to attend scheduled sessions. While our office strives to provide a reminder at least one business day prior to your appointment, we cannot guarantee this reminder and ask that any changes to your appointment be communicated with as much advance notice as possible. We acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances may arise and therefore request that if you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Please be advised that cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice prior to your appointment will result in the full appointment fee being charged.
Failed Payment Policy
If there is an outstanding balance on a client’s account, Direct Health Solutions has the right to decline services until the outstanding balance is paid in full.
Infection Prevention Policy
For the health and safety of our practitioners and other clients, if you or someone in your household has symptoms of a contagious infection (i.e. cough, runny nose, fever), we recommend that you wear a face mask during the appointment and inform us when you schedule your appointment so that our provider may wear a face mask.
Safety Policy
Direct Health Solutions is dedicated to ensuring a safe, secure, and respectful environment for all patients and staff. Any words or actions that create feelings of threat or disrespect will not be accepted, and prompt measures will be implemented to safeguard both clients and personnel. Examples of inappropriate behaviors encompass abusive language, intimidation, offensive jokes, discriminatory comments, threats, bullying, sexual harassment, and unwelcome physical contact.
To maintain the comfort and safety of our staff, we kindly request the removal of any potential hazards from the environment prior to the visit. This includes items such as smoke, incense, pets, weapons, illegal substances, and drug paraphernalia. If, at any point during the appointment, the staff feels unsafe, uncomfortable, or disrespected, they reserve the right to terminate the appointment immediately, and the client will be charged for the full visit; further appointments may also be declined. Additionally, our office may reach out to staff during appointments to ensure their safety, so please understand that they may need to check their phones during the session.
