Mobile Lab Service

Having regular bloodwork done is important to monitor your health and diagnose conditions early. This helps you and your healthcare team to make decisions about your health.

On the other hand, we get it, it’s not easy for everyone to travel to the lab to get blood work done. There are a number of reasons for this including scheduling, transportation, and even anxiety.

When you book an appointment for our mobile lab services, our nurse comes to you at your home or office at a time that works best for you.

Best of all, our nurses only use butterfly needles, which makes it more comfortable for you.

Lab results will be sent directly to the person who provided you with the requisition. If you don’t have a requisition, you may schedule an appointment with our of our nurse practitioners to provide you with a requisition.

I'm a UK citizen in Canada for 6 months and was very worried about how I would be able to get a refill of my ADHD medication here, having been diagnosed and treated in the UK. Naturally, I left it until 5 days before I was due to run out of the 30-day supply I'd been allowed to bring to Canada from the UK. I was recommended DHS by a psychiatry clinic I had reached out to and I was extremely impressed by the service I received. Within 2 days of calling DHS, they had scheduled a telephone appointment with NP, Shyla who was able to prescribe my medication after reviewing my UK diagnosis documents, the day after my call with Shyla, I was able to pick up my prescription from a local pharmacy. Thank you to the DHS team, you have alleviated an enormous worry about getting access to my medication! If you're a UK citizen, staying in Canada, and need to get a refill on a UK-prescribed medication for ADHD, I can't recommend DHS highly enough!
